I cannot throw away thread on a wood spool. But what to do with them?
- Anna WEveryone was pleasant in the store. The prices were reasonable. When we were rang out incorrectly we went back and the staff were totally understanding and helpful. Will be back.
- Deniz CBy far my favorite of the vintage stores in Tacoma. Most of the stores sell overpriced junk - not the case here. Great selection of clothes and reasonably priced. I've bought many items that I wear regularly, and come back often to see new arrivals. Also the responses by the owner here are hilarious and honest. I wish all businesses were like this.
- Craig SLuluz & Co is a treasure-filled palace. Decorative, functional, decadent…I can find whatever I need and things I never knew I needed. Just don't incur the wrath of The Lady. The owner of this store (a consortium of numerous vendors) is cantankerous, irascible and will call you on your bulls*** before you know what hit you. The customer is always right at Luluz – unless they’re wrong. Mrs. Maleficent sits on her throne near the register, surveying her queendom - when she’s not working on an art project (she’s quite talented). Like a spider in the center of her web, she’ll gobble up anyone she finds disagreeable: precocious children, hipsters, Trump supporters. I generally wait until some unsuspecting tourist goes in the store first before entering. That way, Madame Pele’s attention is distracted. Sorry, tourists, but someone has to be sacrificed to the volcano. The Lady has a teenage assistant who – I can only assume – must be experiencing Stockholm syndrome. He has impeccable mid-ce...
